Encouraged, Al took upon himself to continue reading, as the heroine ran away from home with a stranger she had fallen in love with, swearing to follow him to the ends of the world if necessary. Said stranger led a rather dangerous lifestyle, and soon enough was being pursued by several different people, all of whom apparently wanted a piece of him. Al found it silly, but oddly engaging, and certainly a distraction enough.

Around page two hundred, when the man was captured and put to trial for a crime he hadn’t committed and the heroine was trying in vain to rescue him, Al was suddenly jerked out of the story.

so I wanted to work on more Mirrorworld, but realized I’m a bit fuzzy on a few details, and decided to reread from when Al brings Ed through.
Holy three hundred pages, Batman O_o 

Well, Russel can’t really know for sure, because he doesn’t have any proof.  He did, however, leave the house incredibly suspicious.

Actually, at the planning stage of the story, I had originally intended to incorporate them dealing with the tail end/aftermath of the great influenza epidemic that hit at the end of WWI. I believe that I was going to have Russel die of influenza (and never having told anybody of his suspicions). But there was so much going on in the story already that it didn’t really need yet another mini-plot, and when I realized that I could bring them through the Gate already, I saw no reason to incorporate it.  (Besides, in terms of timeline, it’s a wee bit late for the epidemic to really have still been raging).  

So Russel gets to survive!  In addition, I don’t think he ever told anybody.  When Ed and Alfons disappeared, everybody assumed that they had died in the explosion of the warehouse, and at that point Russel didn’t want to speak ill of the dead, especially when all he had was one vague impression to go on.

Yes, I am quite definitely going to finish Mirrorworld. It will take me time, and it’s not as easy for me to write these days as it used to be, and RL demands a lot of attention. 

But I’m slowly working my way through it, and you will definitely see it ended :)
I just hope it doesn’t take too long orz sorry I’m so faily about it

All the pics I’ve uploaded until now? They’re old drawings. From like 2+ years ago. I no longer draw like that…. like, at all….

So now that I’ll be doing new sketches, they’re probably going to reflect my current style.  I hope you guys aren’t disappointed!

This was a birthday present for my then-beta, who asked for a manga page based on one of her favorite scenes from Mirrorworld.

It was actually super fun to draw!

Actually, since I’m currently practicing drawing comics and stuff… If anybody wants to tell me their favorite Mirrorworld scene, I’ll draw you a little comic of it! :)
